Liz Fabi-Piller

Elizabeth (Liz) Fabi-Piller joined Canopy as our Vice President of Accounting & Corporate Controller. Liz oversees accounting operations, supporting acquisition integrations, and strengthening the company’s financial infrastructure as the business scales. Liz has over 28 years of accounting and finance experience in both private equity-backed and public accounting environments. Most recently prior to joining Canopy, Liz was the SVP of Administration and Accounting at Apex Service Partners, the nation’s largest HVAC, plumbing and electrical service company. As an early employee at Apex, she built its national accounting infrastructure and was part of the Senior Leadership Team providing recommendations and support for optimizing operational, M&A and financial processes, cost management with vendor negotiations, technology and controls implementations, and treasury and risk management. Prior to Apex, Liz served as an Audit Senior Manager for private and public companies with Ernst and Young. Liz received her undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Accounting from John Carroll University. Liz is a licensed CPA in the states of Florida (Active) and Ohio (Inactive). Liz is originally from Cleveland, Ohio and currently resides in the Tampa Bay, Florida area with her husband. Liz and her husband have recently become empty nesters with their daughter attending The Ohio State University and their son attending Purdue University.
